Fellowship of the ring:
Frodo Baggins finds the one Ring to rule them all, previously scavenged by Gollum, and leaves for an adventure before retirement.
Frodo leaves with the ring which starts a larger adventure, being discovered by a great wizard; Saruman, who has sided with the Evil Sauron and original bearer of the One ring.
A council of Humans, Elves and Dwarves decide the ring needs to be destroyed but can only be done in the same fires that forged it in mount Doom..
Frodo, Gandalf, Sam, pippin, Legolas, Gimli, Boromir and Strider form the Fellowship of the ring and their true adventure begins.
The Two Towers:
Gollum stalks the Fellowship of the Ring and is captured by them, then saying he will lead them to mount Doom which he is conflicted about since he was captured by Sauron’s forces and tortured when he didn’t have the ring until he told them a hobbit called Frodo had it.
Galdalf becomes Gandalf the White.
Gandalf’s trio are attacked by Orks.
Tree people.
Gollum sets up his betrayal of the fellowship of the ring.

Fellowship: Some discs have minor scratching on the special features discs but are 100% playable.
Towers:
Special Extended Edition part 1
- has minor scratching but the most of all the discs, will play, may be inconsistent, do not expect perfect performance from this disc, stutters expected, disc should still play through its entirety.
