The Cattle one in red is from 1965
The Sheep one in green is from 1966
And contain various diseases, what they are and indicators for its presence as well as some precautions to stop the spread and some treatments although these books do not go into advanced treatment where a veterinarian is required.

The books have been protected by their dust covers very well, the pages within are in great condition.
The Dust covers are in bad shape; colour fade, rips, tears, coffee stains, dirt stains.

All diseases are arranged in alphabetical order in accordance to their Latin name and include more common names in their descriptions.

The information in these books are still relevant today especially since they are listing known diseases and their effects on livestock.

The books themselves are in fantastic condition for their age, they have been used but the pages do not have any damages or yellowing.

The outer dust covers are not good with many long tears but have done their job very, very well and still feel strong despite their age and damages.
