Club Card Program Update

The Club Card Program is being updated across Salvos Stores to prepare for some future enhancements to your in store shopping experience. This update involves some significant changes to our systems, which means the Club Card Program will be temporarily paused from 17th June, 2024.

During this pause, you unfortunately won't be able to earn or redeem points in our stores. This pause will also mean that for now, no new members can sign up to the Club Card Program.

Club Card Members are encouraged to continue to earn and redeem their points in store until the temporary pause begins on June 17th, and any remaining points will be available to redeem again when the program returns.

While the Club Card Program is paused, all Club Card Members will be entitled to receive an alternate offer: a 5% discount on eligible purchases in store whenever you shop with us while the program is paused*.

This means that any item that would have previously earned loyalty points - all donated items - will now be eligible for a 5% off discount for all Club Card Members.

To redeem this offer, all you need to do is give your Club Card details to the team member at the counter the same way you normally would to earn Club Card points. 

This 5% discount is applied on top any other offers or promotions in store (redeemed in the same way that you could redeem your loyalty points on top of a student discount or 50% off colour tags, for example)

Q: When will the Club Card Program be reinstated?

The Club Card Program will be reinstated as soon as our system updates are complete. We will communicate with you as the update progresses to keep you in the loop.

Q: Can the temporary 5% off Club Card Member discount be used in conjunction with another in store offer?

Yes, the temporary 5% off Club Card Member discount in store applies the same way as you would ‘spend’ or redeem your loyalty points before the Club Card Program pause. The 5% discount can be used over and above any other offers or promotions in store.

Q: How can I check my Club Card points balance during the pause?

Your points balance as of the date of the pause (17th June 2024) will continue to be printed on your receipts.

You can check your existing Club Card points balance online HERE during the program pause, but please note you cannot accrue or redeem your points during the program pause.

Q: Will the Club Card points I've already earned be lost?

No, your points are safe. They'll be waiting for you to use as soon as the program is reinstated, and any relevant changes will be swiftly communicated with you.

Q: Can I still use my Club Card to earn/spend points in store up until the pause?

Yes, until the 17th June 2024, when the program pauses. During the pause, no points can be earned or redeemed, so we are offering all Club Card Members 5% off eligible items in store as an alternate offer during the program pause. See FAQ’s above for more information on the in store discount.

Q: Can I still sign up for a Club Card during the pause?

Unfortunately, you won't be able to sign up for a Club Card during the pause. But don't worry, we’ll keep you in the loop regarding any new updates or exciting news coming to our Club Card program.
