This may be a great collectors piece!
This lovely metal smoking set has been plated in an unknown gold finish. It appears to have been make in Japan and has the makers mark for Yamatogumi which was founded in Japan in 1910 and closed in 1940.
It consists of the base which has an inbuilt cigarette case with lid and music box. The music box is hidden and is activated by winding the key on the top and opening the lid. Closing the lid turns off the music.
There is also a pink glass ashtray which sits to the side of the cigarette case and a small indent on the base for the cigarette lighter to sit. It is all contained in what appears to be the original box, although there are no markings on this box of any kind.
There are some small areas where the 'gold' plating has worn away, specifically on the bottom edge of the lighter, however, overall the items are in good condition with minimal wear and tear.
