None of the glass ink vials have been opened. They are all still sealed closed with their original wax seal. It comes in its original cardboard box, and the glass pens/quills have their original plastic seal on the tips. The box is in excellent condition and the set has only been opened for the photographs. This item is of the finest manufacturing quality by a credible art supplies brand.
