JT Para Volt - Pocket Voltmeter - Circa 1920's

This is a wonderful collectors piece or unique gift for someone who likes quirky, interesting antiques.

The Para-Volt is a pocket analog voltmeter.  Created in the shape of a chrome plated pocket watch, it measures DC currents in the range of 0 - 120 volts with two scales of 0 - 12 and 0 - 120 volts.  It has two brass 'legs' to reverse the polarity of the measured current.

This lovely piece comes in its original box, which admitedly is showing signs of being approximately 100 years old!  The base of the box is intact, but the top has been stuck together with sticky tape by a previous owner/s.  The voltmeter itself appears to be in good condition, with light scuff marks on the back of the piece, but no significant scratches or dents.

Please see photos for visual information.
