This Columbia Whirlibird, Interchange jacket in blue, the outer jacket has a front zipper fastening, with press studs to add wind protection when jacket is done up. The hood is detachable and is adjustable at the back. The collar is adjustable with elastic cords. The sleeves have Velcro fastenings at the cuffs for adjusting the size and fit. There are four zipper fastened pockets on the front of the jacket, and a small zipper fastened pocket on the inside, with a pocket to hold a pen, and a mesh pocket on the inside for your snow goggles. There are zipper fastened air vents located in the side seams which extend into the sleeve, these can be opened to let some air is or closed to keep the wind and cold air out. The inside collar is faux fur, for a warm, snug feel. This jacket is fully lined. The inner jacket is quilted for warmth, it has elasticated cuffs and thumb holes for extra comfort and weather protection. There are two front pockets both are zipper fastened, there is a small zipper fastened pocket on the inside, with a pocket to hold a pen, this pocket is accessible even when both jackets are worn together. The outer and inner jackets are fastened together to make one, really warm, snug, waterproof jacket, there are two hidden zippers to attach the jackets, and additional press stud points at the cuffs and collar.
