This Beatrice Harper Grinder was made in England and the set includes three different cutter heads, a cranking handle and a built in screw and clamp attachment to fix to a work surface or table. Still has the original leaflet with instructions for use. The three heads are coarse, medium and fine for mincing a variety of foods from meat and vegetables to bread and nuts.
All parts can be unscrewed and taken apart for easy cleaning. The item is embossed with “Beatrice, Made in England” on one side and “No 3181, Harper” on the other. The mincer heads are numbered and clearly named with “Beatrice”. One says “Fine”.
Come with the original box which is in excellent condition and still has the labels "Harper Housewares" and "Harper, Beatrice, No 3181. one only Harper Food Chopper, Made in England".
A superb example of this iconic piece of Mid Century Kitchenalia.
The vintage Meat grinder has a wonderful a red wooden handle. Meat or Bread can be fed into the top and the product comes out through the aperture, the shape of which can be determined by the three screw on heads.
A highly collectible cast iron vintage Food Mincer. Seems to have had little use and probably just been in its box for years. It is a pre-loved item. The box is in excellent condition. Please view photos.
The Beatrice Harper Grinder is 25 cm (9 3/4in) high from extended worktop screw to the rim of the opening on top. It measures about 24 cm (9 1/2 in) across to the handle edge and 10 cm (4 in) deep. The boxed Grinder with all its parts is heavy and weighs 2260 g (4 lb 15.6 oz).
